Visa and invitation letters
Foreign delegates normally require a Conference Visa to attend an academic conference in India. Apply well in advance — clearance can take several weeks and the process differs by nationality.
- Complete your registration and payment.
- Email info@icngci2027.sharda.ac.in with your paper ID, your name exactly as it appears in your passport, your passport number, its date and place of issue, your date of birth, nationality, and the address of the Indian mission where you will apply.
- An official invitation letter on Sharda University letterhead, signed by the General Chair, is issued within ten working days.
- Apply at indianvisaonline.gov.in and attend your appointment with the invitation letter and the acceptance email.
An invitation letter states that your paper has been accepted and your registration confirmed. It is not a guarantee of a visa, and the organisers cannot intervene in a consular decision. Please do not book non-refundable travel before your visa is granted.
